Yes for the operational side — training schedules, owner accounts, payments, welfare. Competition entry and scoresheet tracking is not a Longrein feature; we recommend keeping the FEI/national federation systems for that and using Longrein for everything else.

Can I track individual horse training progress?

Yes. Each training session is logged per horse, with notes, GPS-tracked metrics where applicable, and weight + workload over time. The Identification card on each horse profile shows discipline, bloodline, microchip, passport, FEI ID, and full health record.

Do owners see their horse's training notes?

Yes — owners see scheduled training sessions, attended sessions, and any public notes. Internal staff notes stay internal. Owners pay invoices, see welfare records, and submit care requests through their portal.

A dressage stable is operationally different from a riding school. The lessons are private or semi-private. The clients are committed long-term. The horses are higher-value, often owned by others. Welfare and conditioning matter more than headcount. Longrein is shaped for exactly that profile.

What Longrein is not

Honest framing: Longrein is not a competition entry platform, not a scoresheet tracker, not a breeding pedigree database. If your stable's primary need is national-level competition management or pedigree research, you'll want federation tools alongside Longrein. The two complement each other — Longrein handles the daily operation, federation tools handle the competition surface.

Can I record training notes that the owner does not see?

Yes. Each horse has an internal Notes (private) field visible only to staff. Public Bio is visible to the owner and on the public stable page.

Does Longrein handle FEI passports?

FEI ID is a field on the horse Identification card and is filterable. We don't fetch from the FEI database; you enter it once.

What about the morning groom workflow?

Each groom or stable hand gets a Trainer or Employee account with their own dashboard. Vet and farrier can post into a horse's health log via a guest-contributor magic link without needing an account.
